In this video, I take a very sad-looking raised planter bed, and re-design it with succulents and other colorful-leaved plants. This spot in particular is tough as it doesn't get a ton of direct sunlight or natural rain, but I chose plants that are typically hardy-enough to survive many conditions.

In a change to my usual over-filled style of plant arrangement, I allowed my husband to try out a "less is more" approach, with some carefully chosen and arranged succulents, along with plants such as Coleus, Pink Polka Dot, and Sea Pinks.

This is a true showing that you can work on something, change your mind, compromise... and still love what you come up with. Enjoy!
