How to make a plastic face shield visor at home using common household items; a 2 litre plastic bottle, kitchen sponge, hair band and tape. It takes around 3 minutes to make.



When no face masks are available the cdc are now recommending:

“Use a face shield that covers the entire front (that extends to the chin or below) and sides of the face with no facemask.”

They also recommend that if using a homemade face mask (such as my other video) then this face shield should be used in combination with the diy mask.

As always if you have a commercial respirator, dust mask, or surgical mask continue to use them. This can be combined with those as an extra layer of protection.
