This is an introductory video looking at the blood and it's constituent components. It starts off with a review of the components of plasma, then looks at the types of white blood cell, that is the leucocytes. This series of videos are 'live' recordings during lessons. If you peruse my channel, you will find many other videos recorded directly to camera if this is your preferred style.
The lesson starts off by considering plasma which is a yellowish fluid which is about 91% water. This plasma keeps the blood fluid, allowing it to circulate around the body. The rest of the plasma is made up of various substances in solution and suspension; these include plasma proteins, nutrients, dissolved gases and waste products.
