But with a projected shortage of trained workers in the coming years in green career occupations, who will have access to these new jobs?

Join the Urban Institute as we discuss how local communities can help workers from historically marginalized communities access the good jobs that are emerging. Our researchers have analyzed publicly available data to understand the quality of jobs and who holds them and conducted interviews with government agencies, intermediaries, nonprofits across selected cities, and national organizations to develop a framework to support work in this area.

The webinar will feature a presentation of Urban research followed by practitioner panelists who will share their experiences in the field, promising strategies, and insights to inform program and policy implementation.
