Well, we can't win them all! I recently got my hands on a '09 #Audi A6 3.0T for a bargain price of just $2200. The seller mentioned a potential steering module issue after changing the starter, which left the car refusing to start. Naturally, I dived into some troubleshooting, hoping for an easy fix. However, what I discovered was something no car enthusiast ever wishes for – a seized engine.

So now, I'm left with the daunting task of swapping out the engine, which comes with its own set of challenges, like not being able to turn the torque converter to release it. Nevertheless, I'm gearing up to tackle this project head-on and share the entire process with you.

But here's a twist in the story - while looking for a replacement engine I also stumbled upon a 2011 A6 3.0T, which I couldn't resist buying at a fantastic price. I'll be sharing the journey of bringing that car back to life too, along with a detailed engine teardown to understand why the engines gave up.

Life often throws curveballs, and car ownership is no different. Join me as I navigate these unexpected hiccups in the world of automotive repairs, learning and growing along the way.
