And what that means is that if you want a V8 petrol DT Ram 1500 -- one of the last midsize pick-up trucks to hang on to its hard-working engine -- before the brand shifts to a turbocharged six-cylinder Hurricane motor, then you need to get on it!

There's an extensive range of models in the RAM 1500 line-up, including the Big Horn, which I've reviewed for CarExpert (and you'll see it in this video), and there's also the Laramie, the Laramie Sport which is the subject of this review, and the Limited. Then there's the TRX, which is also getting its heart transplanted (bye, bye, 6.2L supercharged V8 HEMI).
