Member States of the WHO Eastern Mediterranean Region have shown strong commitment and positive collaboration with partners to tackle Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). Nevertheless, more work is needed to eliminate skin-related NTDs that are highly prevalent in our Region. Hear more from Dr Ahmed Al-Mandhari, the WHO Regional Director of the Eastern Mediterranean Region, about the important work that still needs to be done in this area of public health.
