Some of the best known piano trio recordings of all time, Vince Guaraldi's "Peanuts" soundtracks made him one of the most famous pianists of the 20th century. However, the breadth and quality of his work expands far beyond Charlie Brown, Linus, and Lucy.

This program explored the life and music of Guaraldi, touching on his original compositions, the "Peanuts" soundtracks and their history, his deep affinity for bossa nova, which is what led to the "Peanuts" music.

The sold out house celebrated the holiday season as Patrick and his trio performed all of the best known tracks from the "Peanuts" specials, culminating in a Charlie Brown Christmas style dance party which finished up the show.
