This video features my sister, Sazie Rahman, who is preparing for the New York Fashion Week in September. She’s a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan. She recently attended a book signing and an evening with Anna Kloots, a former student and author of the book: ‘My Own Magic.’ After taking a break from designing, she got the desire to start again when she met Mrs. Alice Teirstein, a former professional dancer. She motivated her to continue her designing. Sazie would be showcasing her evening wear collection and introducing a bridal wear line at the New York Fashion Week during September. The inspiration for her designs are ‘old Hollywood influenced by old Bollywood,’ because of their classic, elegant and trendy styles.
