I bought my iPad Mini 2 four years ago in 2016 and have been using it ever since. The iPad Mini runs the latest iOS version and is great for watching videos, browsing or reading books. You can do some light gaming, but games like Fortnite are not supported on the iPad Mini 2.

Multi-taksing is not really possible on this iPad Mini, due to the small screen size and the 1GB of RAM. Besides that, apps like Sidecar to have a second Mac-monitor don't work on this iPad Mini.

Although you can't get this new (only refurbished), I'd still suggest it if you can get your hands on one. For browsing, watching videos and other light work, this will do the trick. You can compare it to a Macbook Air, but in tablet version.
