Join us in this new style of casual Vlog content called `JDM Masters RAW` Captbradford takes you on a journey to check out places around Japan to give a real look at interesting shops and locations that aren`t only about car or automotive related things but also explore the real Japan in 2021.

In this first instalment we go to a big chain shop Called `Hobby Off` and `Garage Off`. As the interesting use of English applies, the `Off` refers to price off or discount. Merchandise is primarily made up off used goods that people bring to sell to the shop and is cleaned, packaged, categorised and resold. The biggest chain of this company is known as `Book Off`, a shop that stocks used manga, CDs, DVD, Blu Ray dics and other media. We visit a joint chain of `House Off` `Hobby Off` `Garage Off` to show you one of the ways that Capt finds old 80-90s car catalogues, brochures, magazines and even old and rare Tomica die casts. A lots of the items are in acceptable condition but not unusable which makes it great for the majority of people looking for good bargain collectables. While online retail in Japan like Yahoo Auction and Mercari are also great ways to look for old treasure, there is nothing like the thrill of `hunting` for stuff and checking the condition before deciding on the purchase. Because, `one man`s junk is another man`s treasure`
