Here we replace the oil pan gasket on a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe 4x4 with the 5.3L engine. I mention not seeing oil leaking onto the flexplate and conclude that the rear main seal wasn't leaking. BUT, the rear main seal on this generation of Chevy engines is contained in a REAR COVER. The rear cover has its own gasket and that WAS LEAKING! I've got another video coming on that one.
