Follow along as I take on one of the key flaws of the third gen cummins platform: fuel filtration. 3rd gen common rail trucks suffer from poor stock fuel filtration, which over time leads to injector failure and expensive bills. I opted to install a Fass lift pump on my 3rd gen Cummins as it improves fuel flow, removes air, and most importantly lets me mount a 2 micron fuel filter.
