People looking for crazy-technical combos and classic arcade action might play some Street Fighter. And for those in the mood for brutal, bone-shattering moves and the nastiest of Fatalities, well, that’s where Mortal Kombat shines. But there is another thing that Mortal Kombat tends to excel at where other fighters falter, and that’s giving players a fully fleshed-out story mode. Cinematic cutscenes and everything! Well, looking back at some of the older game, I dunno if I’d call them “cinematic,” but hey. Folks flock to Netherrealm games for these features, but what if you’re no good at strings?
