Welcome to Scott Ransopher’s Poetry Podcast. Where I read and discuss my poems. I’m Scott Ransopher. Today, I’ll be talking about The Winds Of Change. Let’s get started! In 2001, I wrote and typed The Winds Of Change. You can read along with me in the description.

THE WINDS OF CHANGE

The winds of change bring love, joy and strife
To life.

The love, the loss, the search, the find are brought
With the winds of time.

Is this wind really their friend, showing them
How to bend?

Bend but not break as life's uncertain steps
They take.

And you, her friend, are you like the wind
That blows through trees?

The wind that rustles the leaves, are
You like the wind that causes this
Tree to bend?

Are you here to help her see the light or are
You like the wind that blows in the night?

Felt but not seen and gone with the
Morning light.
