I flew in a Cessna 172 from Redhill near London to Le Touquet in France. Two friends and I booked seats on a flight sharing website called Wingly and flew in the light aircraft over the channel.

It was the smallest plane I've ever been in and was quite a different experience to flying in the normal commercial planes!

It's an unusual thing to do in London and makes for a cool day out...as well as the chance to fly in a private plane!
