At the gate of the sanctuary is the red veil which depict the blood of Jesus. The sinner brings a lamb to the high priest and the sinner prays over the lamb. The sinner transfers his sin unto the lamb which in New Testament times is Jesus Christ. We are to pray to Jesus Christ and ask for forgiveness of sin and not to pray to any man. Jesus Christ then grant the sinner pardon and he is justified. This is what happens at the outer court of the Sanctuary
