I wanted to see if my lowered 1990 C1500 Chevy Truck could haul a car trailer. I quickly discovered that my suspension wasn’t up to the task. My solution was to install a set of air bags above the leaf springs to help level out the suspension when it gets loaded. Man, what a difference it made.

In my view this is a very easy installation and yields great results. If your suspension is bottoming out like mine was, this is something to consider.

*DO NOT EXCEED THE WEIGHT LIMITS OF YOUR VEHICLE* but the installation of these air bags can greatly increase your trucks towing capabilities, making it safer and easier to drive when loaded.
