In our new episode of "Das Dingsda im Museum", 10-year-old Nils and his mother Sarah explore the work "Blue Black Red Green" by American artist Ellsworth Kelly.

With its intense colours, the multi-part work has a powerful and dynamic effect on the two of them.

Almost as if the colourful rectangles were in motion.
They remind Sarah of flying kites and to Nils, they seem like a row of tumbling houses.

However, both agree that the simplicity of this abstract artwork leaves plenty of room for interpretation and stimulates the imagination.

Find out more about this and other exciting works of the Fondation Beyeler's collection and experience a playful-creative museum visit with the museum game to the series "Das Dingsda im Museum".
