In this episode, I show my beginner's journey using Blender as a 3D design tool. I create a simple box with a crystal llama on top. The llama is a free download from Thingiverse, and represents a popular piece of back bling in Fortnite. This video shows how to incorporate such a file with a custom element designed from scratch in Blender.

My goal with this video is to recreate basic functionality that could also be done in TinkerCAD, as preparation for learning more sophisticated modeling techniques, like sculpting, that cannot be done in TinkerCAD. In my next episode I will make another box, with a sculpted lid.

Every learning journey begins with learning the basics. This shows a beginner's project that starts with setting the preferred units for modeling, scaling and moving, and using the Bool Tool to modify objects using another object, and to combine objects.
