Our sister Channel Perpetual Radio Networks published their episode of TestDrive Spotlight on the 2018 Lincoln Navigator Reserve, and we wanted to get more familiar with the rear entertainment system on this vehicle.    • Return of Lincoln? | 2018 Lincoln Nav...

The 2018 Lincoln Navigator Reserve has a $2,350 optional accessory for the rear entertainment package, which adds two 10" LCD monitors to the back headrests for centre row passengers to use. The system also comes with two IR headphones for those passengers, along with USB, HDMI, and wireless inputs.

We wanted to find out what we could do with this rear entertainment system, since it doesn't include a DVD or BluRay Disc player, and relies entirely on the use of HDMI or USB inputs. When we threw a USB thumb drive on with some TestDrive Spotlight episodes nothing showed up. We realized after quite a bit of trial and error that the OS X Journaled USB thumb drive we used wasn't the right format, and needed to use NTFS or Fat32 Microsoft Windows formatted drives in order to work.

We go over some of the troubleshooting we did, along with attempt to run an Xbox One S on the rear screens through the HDMI input and house-plug found in the centre console.
