MakerBot, founded in 2009, is considered a pioneer of desktop 3D printing and has operated as an independent subsidiary of Stratasys since 2013. The company has already introduced its sixth generation of 3D printers with the launch of the Method series in 2018. With the Method, Method CFE, Method X and METHOD X CFE models, MakerBot has been able to completely revamp its lineup of FDM 3D printers for professionals. We tested the METHOD X CFE 3D Printer with Elliot Saldukiate to learn more about its features and give it a score based on ease of use, printing quality, software and the printer's contents!

At 3Dnatives, we prioritise high-quality 3D printing information. We therefore test the latest and most popular 3D printers and scanners on the market to show how effective they are to the world. Our tests delve into a range of factors including design, performance and reliability, ultimately giving each machine a score as well as an in-depth discussion of its various features.
