HOWDY THERE! If you're reading this, THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME!! I wanted to give a quick backstory on this pilot:

It's both technically a student thesis film as well as a self-made project! While some pre-planning (such as storyboards) took place while at school during my Pre-Production class, the idea for this short came about before starting the class, including the designs for all the major characters in the short. On top of that, most of the animation during Production was done with my own equipment/licensing, whereas all of the backgrounds were completely done at home.

I hope to turn Heliox the Hero into a full-fledged animated series someday, with outlines for at least a season's worth of episodes already plotted, but we'll see where life takes this story :3

I want to give an extra special thanks to my friends who continued to cheer me on in this journey, even when things weren't looking so bright. You guys are the real ones!!
