We all have the capacity to experience deep feelings of appreciation and connection with others.

If we were to remember all the good things that have ever happened to us and appreciate all the conditions that make our lives possible, we would walk around in a near-permanent state of awe.

For understandable reasons, this is not the case for most of us.

The stresses and pressures of day-to-day life easily get in the way of our ability to feel grateful for what we have and close to the people around us.

So in today’s practice, we are going to see what can be done about this by cultivating and sending out feelings of appreciation and warmth.
