Who doesn’t love a good wig? While we’ve seen loads of wig fails in movies and films - ie. Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven and Taylor Lautner’s long wig in Twilight - there have also been some really surprising wigs used that were there to cover up something an actor may have been hiding. Though some of what these actors were hiding came as a huge shock to us!
Sarah Hyland from Modern Family has a pretty tragic backstory to her hair loss that resulted in her needing to wear hair pieces and extensions throughout much of the series. What serious health issue was being covered up?

While Millie Bobby Brown did have one of the worst wigs we’ve ever seen in Stranger Things, one of her wigs was so convincing it totally had us fooled. Can you guess which role it was for?
Though women aren’t the only ones who wear wigs in Hollywood… many of the people on our list are men! This includes Robert Pattinson who turned out to be a bit of a hair dive on set when he was shooting the Twilight films.

We’re also going to cover possibly the weirdest and most surprising type of wig we’ve ever heard of. Cara Delevingne really shocked us and let’s just say - we NEVER thought this type of wig existed.
Some of the actors on this list did dye their hair at one point but then due to loads of damage, had to ditch the dye and trade it in for wigs. What all of these actors do have in common is that these wigs totally had us fooled!
