We really enjoyed making a video for the song Blood a few years ago, and thought, well, we could try that again... Bill graciously
gave us another shot, and the management at Mezzanine
SF were kind enough to sort things out. Thanks to everyone involved!

Originally we had a vague idea of integrating live footage from the concert with cool shots in buildings down at the decommissioned and abandoned Fort Ord military base. That would have been too easy, i suppose. The end result you see is a combination of live concert footage, processed, then projected onto various surfaces in and around the base. we soon found it was near impossible to move and film with any sort of speed or smoothness due to all the rubble in the collapsed buildings. we hit upon the idea of taking photos, then running them together. Stop-motion photography, but instead of moving models around, we were doing all the leg work. even with
lights, often times the exposure on each photo could be one to twenty seconds long. coupled with moving and aligning the cameras,
that could take thirty seconds to a minute per shot. the shots involving a projector advancing frame by frame and moving the camera took... much... longer. KIDS, DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME.

In the middle of production, we heard the awful news of Jeremy's passing. We had already decided put him into the video, but it made it all the more important to do the best we could, in his honor. It took forever, but it was worth it.
