Afro-descendent Peoples comprise 21 percent of the total population of Latin America and the Caribbean according to national censures.
This number is greater than the entire population of Mexico, and still, it is inaccurate.

This video shows some of the latest results of the second report on Afro-descendant Peoples’ Territories in Biodiversity Hotspots across Latin America and the Caribbean and the recently launched cartographic viewer.
