It feels good to finally be finished framing our cabinets, but we've realized it's also time to paint. We had to wait until our shower was framed before we could move forward with the cabinets, and it feels good to have that marked off the list.

From here, paint. Paint is that task that never truly feels finished, and believe us when we say, we're already sick of the painting process.

There's always the small project that becomes a compromise and on this build it has been dedicating space for a pantry. Mariajosé wanted one from very early on and I just couldn't resist the challenge of actually making it happen.
