For this weeks tea break talk we show you our VW T5.1 Transporter Camper Van with the Vanshades Chair pod fitted.

This new design from Vanshades is vacuum formed plastic rather than a canvas bag.

The new robust design houses two sturdy aluminium framed camping chairs neatly in the wasted area immediately behind the tailgate. As long as you have approximately 80mm between the tailgate and the furniture you should be able to fit this neat addition to your van giving you a tidy solution to storing you chairs in the van.

We have a Van Furniture kitchen unit and it works perfectly with the chair pod.
Also having the bike rack the tailgate is still supported by the gas struts, as long as you have the uprated 1250N versions.

We also show you in the video the modification we made to our existing window pod, this needs trimming to enable the chair pod to sit below it.

Only minimal tools are required to fit and excluding any modifications to an existing window pod you should be able to remove your current trim panel and fit this chair pod in under half an hour.

This is a great solution to storing camping chairs without using too much space with in the van.
