After 5 years of neglect, the Jeddah Tower project in Saudi Arabia is finally back on track. In this video, I present the Jeddah Tower (Kingdom Tower) project, 5 technical challenges in the construction of a building that must exceed one kilometer in height. We'll also compare the challenges of such a construction with the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest skyscraper, which is very similar in terms of design.

On the menu: how to stabilize such a tower, what materials to use, wind resistance, energy conservation and elevator design.
