The one thing I am glad that I caught when installing the QA1 coilover suspension kit on my dads 1964 442 Oldsmobile Cutlass was the cracked and failing lower control arm mounts. He said that he was hearing a noise when going over bumps but with all of the worn out suspension components it was hard to pin point where it was coming from. After tearing the front suspension apart and looking things over it was very noticeable that the cause of the noise was from the driver and passenger lower control arm mounts, both were cracked but the driver side was cracked in three places and starting to pull away from the frame which was a safety concern and with the addition of QA1's track suspension kit with coilovers it was only a matter of time before they became the cause of an accident!!!!
