Robin Padilla portrayed Bonggoy, an ex-army who now served as bodyguard to Don Perfecto's (Eddie Rodriguez) lovely daughter, Shirley (Ana Roces). Seemingly playful, cupid's arrow hit both hearts making Bonggoy and Shirley eventually fell in love with each other. When their relationship was discovered, Shirley was made to choose between father and boyfriend.
