In this tutorial I show you how to uninstall Riot Games Client. By uninstalling the Riot Client you will remove all games made by Riot as they require the Riot Client to play. Ideally, when you uninstall the Riot Client you will want to completely uninstal; the software, including all the extra files.

You can uninstall the Riot Games client by deleting the Riot Games folder on your PC. Typically, this is located on the C drive, however, you may have changed the location when you installed the Riot Client. The easiest way to find the location is to right-click on the Riot Client shorcut and choose to open file location. This will take you to the Riot Client folder on your PC, which is inside the Riot Games folder that stores all of games owned by Riot. Additionally, the client files are also saved here.

Once you have deleted the Riot Games folder the Riot Client will be uninstalled. However, some files will remain on your PC. You can manually delete these files. Using the Run application you can open the local files on your computer and delete the Riot Games folder here. Additionally, the games by Riot may also have their own folders. To ensure that you completely uninstall the Riot Client you may also want to delete the game folders.

Additionally, you can also delete the shortcuts saved on your PC. These are the files which will run the application file for you, but aren't the actual application. As the Riot Client application file is now gone the remaining shortcuts are no longer needed. Often you will have shortcuts saved on your desktop. However, you may also have a Riot Games folder in the Start Menu programs folder on your PC. You can delete the Riot Client shortcut by searching for it with the Start Menu, and choosing to open file location. After which a file explorer window will open with all of your Riot Games shortcuts. You can go back a folder to delete the Riot Games folder, removing all of the shortcuts at once.

As a final step you can open the control panel and select the uninstall a program option. This allows you to see all of the programs that you have on your PC. Once here you can search for "Riot" to find any games and applications owned by Riot. You can then uninstall the Riot Client to remove it from your PC. Additionally, you may also need to uninstall some games.
