HMTV's World Tour - Take 2 mins from your day, buckle up and sit alongside some world class drivers as they hustle their historic cars around circuits and hillclimbs from around the world!

This is the final video in this series as we take a break in the closed season, but we end this series in France with a fabulous ride around the street circuit of Angouleme - the Circuits des Remparts - one of the few remaining city circuits. The track - all of which is on public roads closed for the event - was first used for a Grand Prix in 1939. After the war the track regularly hosted the Formula 2 championship and winners included Juan Manuel Fangio.

Today we ride along with Simon Kelleway in this year's Allcomers Pre-War Cars race. Simon is driving a 1937 Riley Sprite 12/4 Special powered by a 1496cc Riley engine and using a Wilson Preselector gearbox. This car was turned into a Special back in the 60s and is a regular competitor at VSCC and other events in the UK and across Europe.

After qualifying 2nd on the grid, Simon was running in 2nd pace but the gear change linkage broke on lap 12 forcing him to retire - a major disappointment after a series of podiums at this event in recent years.Simon looks after the car himself, but is grateful to Riley engineer and guru Ian Macfarlane for his assistance and input on the more complicated tasks!
