This week the Sierra mountains were slammed with snow fall by a massive storm, dumping in some areas, close to an incredible 12 ft of snow. This trip my plan was to go snow camping and explore the aftermath of this behemoth storm. Everything was going great until half way into the trip I discovered I was not prepared with the few essential items I needed to stay overnight, the stress on me grew and then we got stuck. Spending hours of our time in the snow digging out and recovering our vehicles this storm definitely kicked spanked our butts. This video is partly our experiences, what we learned on this trip, and what we could have possibly done different to avoid getting stuck.
