Geared tripod heads provide unparalleled camera control when you need to align your photo and/or video composition just so. Most geared heads are fairly expensive, but not the new Neewer GM-38. In this video, I cover what a geared head is, how it works, and why (unfortunately) most people should avoid the GM-38.
