I was given the honor of flying with LCDR Andre Webb, Blue Angel #7, on September 18 2018. Hit 7.4G at the end of the flight. Roller coasters will never be the same!

Thank you to the Blue Angels and NAS Oceana in Virginia Beach for allowing me this opportunity!

Thank you to all of our service men and women for your hard work to defend our nation.

Update:
Many have been asking how this opportunity came to be. I think the most important thing to say here is that I am no more deserving than anyone else. The Blue Angels reach out to schools and community based organizations for them to nominate individuals that have served the community and can use the flight experience as a way to impact others. I was very fortunate to have been selected as a nominee for 3 years. Each year, after being nominated, I had to submit an application letter highlighting how I would use the experience to help others, which was then placed into a pool to be selected by the Blue Angels ride along committee. The first year, I was not chosen. The second, I was a stand by. The third, I was offered the seat. I am very humbled to have been able to fly with this outstanding pilot and I now use this experience to share with the students I work with that no matter who you are, serve others and great things will happen to those around you and maybe even yourself! Enjoy the video!

An excellent video that has some explanations of what is seen during those G’s and fighting light loss using the hick maneuver is on here    • US Navy Centrifuge (CFET) Training - ...   . I had a similar reaction with the different levels he hit.
