Frank Herbert's Dune heavily features epigraphs from the writings of Princess Irulan of the Imperial House Corrino. Irulan plays a significant role in the Dune saga and has been the de facto narrator for previous adaptations. In this video I talk about the lore behind Princess Irulan, why her works are so often quoted in Frank Herbert’s series and whether or not we can expect to see her character in Denis Villeneuve’s upcoming adaptation of the Dune saga.
