Bhindi Written Recipe with Directions:

Ingredients:

-Okra (Bhindi) ½ kg
-Green Chillies (hari mirch) 5-6
-Garlic (lehsan) cloves 8
-Ginger (adrak) 2 inches
-Cooking Oil 4 tbs
-Dried Coriander (khushk dhania) powder 1 tbs
-Salt (namak) 1 tsp or to taste
-Black pepper (kali mirch) powder 1 tsp
-Yogurt (dahi) 2 tbs
-Cooking oil ½ cup
-Onions (piyaz) julienne 2 big size
-Tomato (Tamatar) julienne 3
-Red chili (lal mirch) powder 1 tsp
-Turmeric (Haldi) ¼ tsp
-Salt (namak) ¼ tsp or to taste
-Grounded mixed spices (garam masala) powder 1 tsp

Directions:

-Cut okra from top & bottom. Make a slit in okra, then cut it into pieces.
-In a chopper, add green chillies, garlic cloves, and ginger and chop well.
-In a pan, heat the cooking oil. Add chopped mixture and cook it for 1-1.5 minutes. Now, add dried coriander powder, salt, and black pepper powder and mix well.
-Add Okra and cook it for 4 minutes. Now on low flame, add yogurt and cook it for 1-1.5 minutes. Bring it out and set aside for later use.
-In a pan, heat the cooking oil. Add onions and tomato and mix well. Cover and cook it for 4-5 minutes on medium flame.
-Add red chili powder, turmeric, and salt and mix well. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.
-Now add okra in it and cook it for 3-4 minutes on medium flame.
-Turn off the flame and add grounded mixed spices powder and mix well.
-Dish out, serve, and enjoy with Roti.
