I take a 32 carat piece of Coober Pedy, S. Australia seam opal and try to cut a cabochon. The opal is very thin and problems with sand were a concern, but it was cracks that spoiled the party. There are guest appearances by all of my favorite buddies: Paco, Touchy, Hopper and Zoe ......and SHEILA! Kittens are very entertaining and they do the craziest things. In the video, my young cat, Hopper, learned to hiss when he was being "bullied" by his older brother, Paco ... a very cool cat.
The video features interesting things from nature, including prionus beetles in a mating dance and Eastern Box turtles in a reverse dance. Lots of fun!
