Mercedes-Benz has taken all the goodness of their flagship EQS Electric Sedan and transformed it into a larger capacity Sport Utility.
This EQS580 sports the same dual motor AWD set-up as the sedan with a large 107.9 kWh battery which is good for a range of 459 kms and a run to 100km/h or 0-62 mph in just 4.7 seconds which is impressive for a large luxury electric sled. The EQS580 can be equipped with up to 10 degrees of rear wheel steering which is incredible and seems to shrink the size of teh large SUV in tighter spots or when doing u -turns.

The EQS 580 comes standard with the massive 56" Mercedes-Benz Hyper screen and when fitted with the fragrance module it can provide a spa like experience. Out tester was equipped with the rear seat entertainment package which added 5 zone climate control, heated rear seats, luxury head rest and rear seat tablet with the latest MBUX infotainment system.

With no surprise, the interior fit, finish and materials are first rate and extremely comfortable although soft close doors and heated door panels or middle console surfaces are not available on the EQS which is surprising for this level of vehicle.
