I didn't like my current lathe setup, with the lathe on a rolling bench. The bench took up a lot of room in the shop. The shavings collected under the lathe and around the motor and filled up the bench, and the lathe sat too high. I priced commercial cast iron lathe legs and was frightened by the price. I decided to build my own from two sheets of 3/4" birch plywood. I filled the screw holes with unnecessary walnut plugs, just because I could! Filmed on the iPhone X with the iPhone camera stand. Logo design by Brandon Kettle. Video music is Dusty Fingers" by DJ Williams and "Light Expanse" by Unicorn Heads.
