The production process involves several steps. Firstly, the spinning process transforms polyacrylonitrile plastic into fibers. These fibers are then stabilized through oxidation to enhance their heat resistance. Subsequently, carbonization takes place by heating the fibers in an oxygen-free environment to release non-carbon atoms and form carbon crystal bonds. The fibers undergo surfacing to improve bonding properties and sizing to coat them with protective materials. Prepreg, another form of carbon fiber, involves impregnating carbon fibers into resin paper. Finally, quality control tests are conducted before shipping the carbon fiber Prepreg to customers.
