A lot of people think that entire buildings flood when a fire sprinkler system goes off but that is not always how they work. You also have to be very careful with the sprinklers as they are not fun to be in. The systems are also very expensive and becoming a requirement in houses which is helping to drive up housing costs. I have a few personal experiences with the sprinklers and some disaster stories.
