Great results from Round 2 of @club100 Junior Super-lightweight Season!

Practice: P8
Quali: P5 (P20 A-final)
Pre final: P20⬆️P6
Final: P6⬆️P3 🏆

Practice had some super weird conditions which made the track very slippy to drive on, but managed to learn the track.

Quali I worked with George but sadly his kart was quite off the pace, so he would qualify in the B-final. With around 3 mins to go when the tires were finally starting to get up to temp there was a red flag 🚩 as someone had crashed on the last corner. This meant I had to pull off the track and sit in the kart for about ten minutes and that meant the tires were cold and so… all the lap times were slow from our group 😕
Annoying but, it is what it is.

Pre final I started P20 and got a mega start making up 8 places on the first lap and continued to make placed up until I finished P6 right behind Max.
Really happy with that drive( look at the photo 😂) and that gave me a good starting point for the final.

Once again I managed to get a rocket start and got up to 4th but lost a bit of time fighting on the first few laps, but managed to get into 3rd and made a comfortable gap from behind. I began to close in on @loganmcalisterracing and Jamie were battling up in front. But the kart seemed to lose pace mid way through the race and the gap stayed the same.
On the last lap Logan and Jamie were battling a LOT which meant I could close in a lot but sadly not quite enough to get any further up the podium.

P3 in the end 🏆
Super happy with my recovery from a bad qualifying and now sitting in P2 in the championship behind Jamie.
