We’re taking a deep dive into Tom Felton’s experience on Harry Potter as the villainous role of Draco Malfoy. You're going to be surprised to know he was nothing like that. We’ll show you moments you may have never thought the actor experienced and felt on set - from bromances to behind the scenes shenanigans, this actor had a pretty interesting time off camera.

Tom was graced with the role by complete chance and if it weren’t for his quick-witted thinking, we may not have been able to see him in the titular role. It also helped that he kept character through multiple injuries on set and by just being that older brother figure to many of the younger cast. Felton was pretty unknown of the calibour of the films he was doing, but maybe that was a good thing. If some people had it their way, we would’ve seen a dramatic change in his character later on, but that will never be. His performance lent a hand to the star-studded cast performance and helped us through Draco’s dramatic change in the later films.

The Harry Potter series touched our hearts and helped shape many of our childhoods. Tom Felton was a part of that, making us believe he was the most evil and vile character in the series. Deep down, he is the complete opposite of his on-screen character. He became the Dark Lord’s chosen one and was given the chance to prove his acting chops.
