Before starting the van build, I wanted to get an important piece of information about the van, the starting weight. This will help give an idea of how much we can safely add while building the van and how much we end up putting in when everything is built.

So I went to the closest Cat Scale about 30 miles away to get it weighed. Its a pretty simple process. All you need is to get the app and sign up before hand. The app is called Weigh My Truck and it will us GPS to see which scale you are at, and then click weigh. Pretty easy.

Although I had some trouble with it on my second weigh where it was taking forever to get the reading. The trucker behind me lost his patience and got right up on my bumper.
