Dana, which is seeing a surge of interest in their EV technology, gives us a ride in the all-electric Zenith van spec’d with Dana’s eS4500i independent e-Axle powertrain and powered by their 180kw TM4 motor which generates 192 foot pounds of torque. The converted Ram ProMaster van has a range of up to 135 miles. Dana senior engineering manager, Jason Sidders, talks about ways to improve range which includes variable gear ratios and improved power conveyance.
