After 30 years parked in a junkyard withe the windows down and the spark plugs out the old 289 V8 that was in this 64 Galaxie Country Sedan station wagon was not salvageable. So we are swapping in a 5.0 302 engine out of a Mustang GT that we hopped up with a complete valve train from Comp Cams, a Weiand intake manifold, Holley 650 carburetor, and Hooker headers. This is an original V8 stick shift manual that was converted to floor shifted back in the 70s with an old Hurst shifter.
