~ www.brosintheknow.com ~ Here's Luke fixing his friends' laptop, applying some thermal paste to the heatsink for the processor and video chip. It all started when he did a search for "thermal paste application" and he couldn't find an up to date one so he created one for you! A couple interruptions but we're sure you'd forgive them. 1. Use as many cotton swabs as you want/need. Don't hesitate.
2. Get a good clean surface on both heat sink and computer chip.Using isopropyl rubbing alcohol.
3. Make sure you don't have any bubbles or dust/hairs/cotton in the thermal past when applying.
4.Don't move the heat sink around once it's attached.
5.Don't over tighten those screws! You might damage the motherboard and then you're in real trouble!
